Nathan is a Chicago-based actor, writer, improviser, and filmmaker. His favorite dinosaur is a Pterodactyl. The second of five Jewish/Russian/Scottish siblings, Nathan holds a BFA in Theatre Performance: Acting and a minor in Playwriting from the University of Michigan and is a Second City Conservatory graduate. Nathan has recently worked with Court Theatre in Big White Fog, TimeLine Theatre in An Enemy of the People, and can be spotted bussing tables in The Bear (3x3) or pumping iron in Living Situation (1×1). Other favorite credits include UofM’s solo production of Every Brilliant Thing. Nathan has broken his nose and had braces the same number of times: three. Each. When he isn’t acting, Nathan loves to write, compose, improvise, sound design, play video games, and take long walks on the beach (but the walks are sleeping and the beach is his bed). His writing includes musicals (King of the Tigers: A Tiger King Musical, The Curse of the Arthur Miller Head, Juke!, A Flower for Albert), TV (Big Break!, Welcome Back, DMR), and plays, including his award-winning play Chekhov’s Gun, which is currently being developed for future production. Nathan is endlessly grateful for his family, girlfriend, friends, collaborators, and mentors who continue to make this whole ridiculous artistic life possible.
